Keep Lone Workers Safe, from Check-In to Sign-Off

Set the interval that fits the job — every thirty minutes, hourly, or whatever the site demands — and the app prompts each worker to confirm they are OK. One tap answers it.

A missed check-in triggers your escalation plan without anyone watching a screen: a reminder to the worker first, then the supervisor, then the safety manager or emergency contact.

The HELP button in the worker’s channel alerts supervisors and designated emergency contacts the moment it is pressed. Once the situation is resolved, Cancel Emergency stands the response down.

With location services enabled on the device, an emergency alert includes the worker’s location, so responders head to where the worker actually is rather than where the schedule put them.

Create a monitoring channel in Discuss, add the workers and their supervisors, then choose the check-in frequency and escalation rules. The native app is the default; Google Chat is available as an alternative channel.

Every start, check-in, alert and stop is posted in the channel as it happens, leaving a timestamped record for incident reviews and safety compliance.
